The Governing Board is the governing body of PBL Education Pty Ltd. trading as the International Graduate Institute (IGI), with overall responsibility for the Institute, including its finance, strategic direction, governance and risk management.

The Governing Board has delegated the academic governance of the Institute to the Academic Board. The membership of the Academic Board is comprised of an independent chair, tertiary sector experts, academic staff from other institutions, tertiary industry practitioners and members of the Institute’s academic staff.
The Academic Board operates independently of the ownership of the Institute to assure academic independence. The Academic Board has responsibility for the academic administration and oversight of educational processes supported and guided by academic policies.
The Governing Board has delegated to the Academic Board the responsibility to convene sub-committees as identified in the PBL Governance Charter to support them in discharging their roles and responsibilities.
