The Board of Directors of PBL Education Pty Ltd trading as the International Graduate Institute (IGI) has oversight of the strategic direction, management and financial viability of the Institute in addition to ensuring that the Institute continues to meet its legal, regulatory, financial and social obligations and responsibilities.

Rupinder Malhi

Executive Director and CEO
Rupinder Malhi is an entrepreneur and business leader with more than 15 years of experience across education, property development, and telecommunications. Holding an engineering degree and a master’s in information technology, Rupinder has built a strong foundation in strategic planning, operations management and innovation through leadership roles within Australia’s telecommunications sector. His academic background and corporate expertise have played a key role in shaping his approach to business leadership, combining technical knowledge with a focus on long-term growth and community impact.

Emeritus Professor James Mienczakowski

Independent Director and Chair of the Academic Board
Prior to accepting the role of Pro Vice Chancellor and President of Curtin Malaysia Jim was Vice-Chancellor of ADEK’s Emirates College of Teacher Education and earlier served with ADEK as its establishing Foundation Executive Director of HE and as HE Advisor. Jim has also held senior leadership positions in a number of Australian HE institutions. Formerly Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Industry) of Victoria University and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and Research) at CQU, Jim was a Foundation Dean of Education & the Arts responsible for the pioneering of a profession-led workplace-ready training model for teachers and for extending and renewing the CQU Conservatorium of Music’s programs and facilities.

The Academic Board

The Academic Board has delegated responsibility by the Board of Directors for the academic governance of the Institute. This includes academic policy making, academic administration and oversight of the educational process. The Academic Board determines academic policy and has responsibility for the achievement of educational objectives of the Institute’s higher education courses.
